In Loving Memory of Marie J. Yates

The Kidney Kings Podcast was built on truth, courage, and lived experience,  and Marie Yates embodied all three.

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved co-host, Marie J. Yates.

Marie’s voice carried strength and honesty for kidney patients, caregivers, and families everywhere, and her impact will continue far beyond this moment.

This podcast and website will continue forward in Marie’s memory and honor, committed to awareness, education, advocacy, and real patient stories.

Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support for our family during this time.

"I believe no one should face kidney disease alone. We will continue that mission.” Marie

Her belief that YOU Are NOT Alone will be fulfilled.

Share Your Story

If you came here from Marie’s obituary post, thank you for being part of her story. Writing her own obituary was a part of her belief in each of you needing an advocate, a partner, and a friend who should never have to go through kidney disease alone.

If you would like to be considered as a guest on Kidney Kings, we invite you to reach out with your story. Or, if you just wish to share your love and thoughts.

We'll see you on the other side.

Many have asked to read Marie’s full obituary.
