Marie Yates
Marie Yates is the Dialysis Voice of America.
The Kidney Kings Podcast is the full creation of Marie Yates with one simple core mission saving lives through information and sharing resources to make sure no kidney disease patient ever feels alone. YOU Are Not Alone is her battle cry!
Marie is a marathon runner who has completed full and half marathons throughout the United States. She is a Banking Center Manager serving some of the top financial institutions in the United States and has experience managing hundreds of banking center employees.
However, her biggest challenge has been managing the debilitating impact of End Stage Renal Failure, the removal of one kidney following extraction of more than 150 kidney stones and undergoing many of the procedures everyday kidney dialysis patients endure and overpower to stay alive.
Marie is an accomplished speaker, fundraiser, and an inspiration to thousands of kidney dialysis patients in the United States giving her the well-deserved title of the Dialysis Voice of America.
Sam Yates
Sam Yates is an award-winning journalist, veteran public relations executive, and the host of more than a dozen professionally produced podcasts. With extensive experience in investigative reporting, broadcast journalism, government affairs, community advocacy, and national/international not for profit operations, Sam brings a balanced voice to the conversations shaping kidney health with the communications skills to fine tune the information.
He has interviewed world-class physicians, national nonprofit leaders, policymakers, medical innovators, patient advocates, and researchers from various fields across the United States and internationally. Sam’s work is guided by a commitment to accuracy, compassion, and clarity for audiences seeking trusted kidney health information that can help save lives.
